Among them, the content of C is below 0.12%, the content of Mn is
between 1.50% and 1.90%, and the content of other elements is
subject to certain restrictions to ensure the stable performance of
the welding wire.
Welding wire specifications: H10Mn2 submerged arc welding wire has various specifications, and common diameters include φ2.0, φ2.5, φ3.2, φ4.0 and φ5.0, etc., to meet different welding needs.
2. Mechanical properties
Tensile strength: The measured value of the tensile strength of the cladding metal
of H10Mn2 submerged arc welding wire is usually higher than 490MPa,
which meets the requirements of relevant standards.
Yield strength: Its yield strength is also high, and the general measured value is above 390MPa.
Impact toughness: At the test temperature of -20℃, the average impact energy KV2 of H10Mn2 submerged arc welding wire is relatively high, showing good low-temperature toughness.
3. Welding processability
Arc stability: H10Mn2 submerged arc welding wire has stable arc burning during
welding and is easy to operate.
Slag removal: Slag removal is easy after welding, the weld is beautiful, and the cleaning work after welding is reduced.
Matching flux: H10Mn2 submerged arc welding wire is usually used in combination with sintered flux such as SJ101 to obtain the best welding effect.
